銀座の夜は…

At night in Ginza...

A childhood friend I met when I went to Tokyo the other day, and my best friend in Tokyo.

The second place we hit it off with right away was the one we headed to.

It was a long-established bar typical of Ginza.

Speaking of Ginza, wine and champagne can cost tens or even hundreds of thousands of yen each.

You may have an image of a bar stocked with whiskey and other drinks.

There are some high-end shops like that,

There are also long-established stores that have been in business since before the war.

This time, my friend took me to Lupine, which was founded in 1928.

Located underground further down the alley,

A famous restaurant among famous restaurants that even if you know the geography of Ginza, you might get lost.

It is a bar with an outstanding atmosphere that is said to have been frequented by literary giants such as Osamu Dazai.

By the time we got to the second house, I was so drunk that I don't remember what we said.

The atmosphere of the shop and the people working there are not middle-aged people but old people (sorry).

It's not just grandpa's bartenders, the hall is filled with people from grandma's generation.

It is only in Tokyo that there are shops like this.

I'm glad that there are shops where you can feel the weight of history rather than modernity.

It seems that there are various recommendations,

A friend recommended me an egg yolk drink called Golden Fizz.

A light flavor that softens the heavy Chinese food at the first restaurant.

The store staff working hurriedly in a crowded store,

They treat even brats like themselves like their own children.

It seems that the number of serious long-established stores like this is decreasing year by year,

One of the things I look forward to when I go to Tokyo is ``feeling the history.''

The number of long-established stores that existed when I used to work in Ginza has decreased.

It's great that new stores are popping up all the time.

Sometimes I feel a little lonely.

I haven't decided when I will go to Tokyo next.

I want to become a regular at this store.

I would also like to have my company's brochure placed in the store.

It was a night filled with such ambition... lol
