福岡の名物

Fukuoka specialty

After moving to Fukuoka, I thought I went to quite a few restaurants.
Well, no matter how many times we go, there are so many famous restaurants that we can't keep up with.
The person who was with me the other day really understands what I mean when I say, ``Fukuoka's restaurants are like the universe.''
There are many if you search in magazines or on the internet.
If you ask people, they will tell you one after another,
Honestly, I don't know where to go (lol)
There are so many restaurants in Fukuoka.
So this time, I took him to a restaurant that is ``speak of Fukuoka''.

Yes, speaking of Fukuoka, "Tori skin" is also famous.
When I lived in Tokyo, Fukuoka was only famous for ``Tonkotsu Ramen'' and ``Omotsunabe.''
I learned after moving to Hiroshima that mizutaki and udon are also famous.
After that, every time I went to Fukuoka, I learned that there were many different shops.
I had no idea that yakitori culture was so popular.

This time I went to a popular restaurant called "Suikyo" in Yakuin.
Apparently it's so popular that even on weekdays you can't get in without making a reservation, and it was packed on this day as well.
The chicken skin eaten in the Kanto region has the same gooey texture that everyone knows.
The outside is crispy and fragrant.
I think it's definitely one of the teppanyaki menus at a yakitori restaurant.
The chicken skin here has a texture unlike anything I've ever eaten before.
Each skin is small enough to fit on a skewer, so you can eat as many as you want.
Moreover, I think the seasoning is marinated in soy sauce.
The flavor soaks into the inside and it's extremely delicious.
We went with 3 people, and we ate 60 pieces of chicken skin alone, apart from other menu items...Was it too much? (lol)
By the way, the way to order is to write down the number of bottles you need on a piece of paper, but separate pieces of paper are prepared for chicken skin and beer, so
That alone shows how popular these two menu items are.

In fact, there seem to be a huge number of yakitori restaurants in Fukuoka.
Among them, the most popular stores are crowded on weekdays, and on weekends, it's almost impossible to get in.
I felt like there were a lot of ramen shops, motsu nabe, and udon shops,
There are also many other restaurants of various genres such as Italian, French, Chinese, Korean, etc.
However, depending on the store, the price is not that high,
Rather, most stores are easy on the wallet.
Apparently, most of the local shops have reasonable prices.
Many of the high-end stores are from outside the prefecture or are owned by foreign companies.

I'm kind of happy!
Delicious, nice atmosphere, and reasonably priced.
Eating out can't be made at home,
It's fun to be able to eat things that you wouldn't normally be able to eat.
If the price is too high, you won't be able to go there.
But there are many places that are reasonably priced, so
There is no need to worry so much when guiding people from outside the prefecture.
Including the corporate efforts of the store staff,
Every day I am impressed by the wonders of Fukuoka's food culture.

The richness of these foods will make you happy every day.
Eating delicious food and having fun talking,
Food is surely the best tool to enrich your days.
It may be an exaggeration, but I feel lucky to have been born on this planet.
I will let you know if I discover a new store!
