Second Ferris wheel of the year

The last time was before I moved to Fukuoka.

Last night, I went to the nearby outlet mall " Marinoa City " .

When you have to pick up your child late and it's a hassle to make dinner,

Having facilities like this is really helpful (lol)

But because I ate too much lunch, I didn't eat dinner...

Less than 10 minutes by bicycle from my house.

It's getting a little chilly at night, but the change of seasons makes me feel strangely excited.

So when I said, ``Let's ride the Ferris wheel,'' my son got excited.

I don't know when I started liking Ferris wheels, but this is the second time this year we've ridden together.

Just like last time, my wife was going shopping, so it was the first time for both of us to ride the Ferris wheel at night.

I couldn’t believe my son was the person I went on my first Ferris wheel date with… (lol)

Maybe 20 minutes a week?

It's not that big of a Ferris wheel, but

Last time I rode it at noon, it was high enough to get a panoramic view of Fukuoka City.

Fukuoka City is close to the airport, so there aren't as many large buildings as there are in Tokyo or Osaka.

Fukuoka Tower and Yahoo Auction Dome in the neighboring town,

It is also a recommended date spot with a panoramic view of the ocean.

However, at night, there are only lights from apartments and other buildings, and the scenery is...? ?

The Ferris wheel is meant to be ridden during daylight hours, not at night (lol).

The last time was when I was doing market research near Meinohama just before moving to Fukuoka.

Even though it happened recently, within the past year, it feels like a long time ago.

How many times have you decided to go to Fukuoka?

It was awkward when I was late to catch the Shinkansen home and picked up my child before 7pm.

At that time, I rode my bicycle from Hakata Station to Nienohama.

And my lower body was shaking because I ran all the way to the back of the Yakuin building.

When I came to Fukuoka by car, I couldn't find the way and even looked at the navigation system, so I got lost.

But now, of course, I don't get lost,

You can find recommended shops,

I am now able to provide guidance when going out to eat with friends or customers.

Just a few months ago, I was really full of things right in front of me.

It was especially difficult when my child started attending nursery school.

For children brought to a strange land with their parents,

You probably don't even know what it's like to move, and your current environment will completely change.

Meanwhile, I can't help but look forward to going to nursery school now.

They seem to be having fun no matter where I take them.

The parents may be idiots, but I'm impressed that the children are doing their best.

I was really worried about moving to Fukuoka,

Not only the store but everything starts from scratch.

That's fine, but I don't know anyone or have anyone I can rely on.

I feel like I started from a negative position.

But now more and more customers are coming to the store.

My relationships with mom friends from nursery school and neighbors have increased,

Most of the anxiety factors have been reduced.

In about two months, it will be one year since I moved here.

People who have supported me since Hiroshima,

Friends I still keep in touch with from when I lived in Tokyo,

And family.

I think I've been able to persevere until now because I'm surrounded by people like that.

When I take on a challenge, my anxiety is greater than my hope.

Even if my mind is filled with thoughts that are no good,

First, let's take a step.

If it really doesn't work, think about it then.

So, no matter how anxious you are,

No matter how scary it is, if you take the first step,

I'm sure a bright future awaits you.

It would be great if someday when our children grow up, our actions can lead them in the right direction.

I was lost in these thoughts while going around the Ferris wheel yesterday.
