Today we will talk about self-care for watches.
If you are reading this blog,
I think you are a watch lover or someone who is about to get your favorite one.
I'm not worried, but...
Are you taking proper care of your watch? ? ?
When buying a watch, please do your research thoroughly.
I went to various watch stores and listened to their stories, and I searched a lot on the internet.
You spend time and effort to buy that one book of destiny...
Surprisingly, you probably don't pay much attention to the details after you get it. ?
When you first buy it, of course, handle it with care and be careful not to drop or hit it.
Although I keep it in my watch case every day,
As the years pass, and wearing a watch becomes commonplace,
Don't you think you'll gradually become less concerned about the details?
Now, about the main topic.
Lately, I have been receiving a lot of overhauls that I have brought in.
Have you ever looked at the back side and gaps between watches and bracelets? ?
When a watch has been used for many years, a lot of dirt accumulates in the gaps between the bracelet and between the watch and the bracelet.
You were shocked...
Let's check your watch now (lol)
For watches that have not been overhauled for a while,
Dirt may harden between the parts, making it impossible to remove the spring bar or adjust the brace. . .
During overhaul, all parts are disassembled and cleaned, so it will be clean.
If you haven't overhauled your car for a while or haven't taken care of it yourself,
Start overhauling and self-care now.
Self-care is easy.
First, if you can remove your belt or bracelet by removing the spring bar, please do so.
From there, wipe the watch body with the chamois.
The gap between the watch and the strap is the easiest to get dirty, so be careful.
If there is any visible dirt, please wipe it off with tissue paper first as it is a waste of the chamois leather.
Dirt tends to accumulate in the crevices of bracelets, so use a dry toothbrush or toothpick to remove dirt from the crevices.
For those who cannot remove belts or bracelets by themselves,
Wipe dirt with a chamois after daily use.
If you use your leather belt every day, you should replace it two or three times a year.
Especially in the summer, you sweat a lot, so care and replacement are essential.
At our store, we will clean the bracelet of your purchased watch free of charge.
I have been telling customers for some time that they should bring their own breath cleaning as it is free of charge.
The fact that not many people bring it...
Ah~! ! I want to clean it well! !
If you think it's time for an overhaul,
Take this opportunity to clean your watch bracelet as well.
Liar! ! ! I was so surprised,
It's actually dirty. . .
