言われればそうですが...

If you ask me, that's true...

This year's New Year's Day was spent in Hiroshima with my entire family, including my sister's family.
As I wrote in a previous blog,
Speaking of New Year's Day, it means "New Year Sale".
Because children rarely come together,
I took this opportunity to buy a few things that each of them wanted.

When I was a child, I used to grab my New Year's gift and buy games and sports equipment.
It's strangely moving to know that my own children want something similar.
Especially since my nephew No. 1, who is in the second grade of junior high school, is going to Disneyland the next week.
A set of thick clothes for Disney, which is deadly cold by the seaside.
Just like my aunt bought it for me.
I’m too old to start buying clothes for my nephew (lol)

What's more, I'm strangely happy to be in Hiroshima, which I'm familiar with.
However, most of my acquaintances quit the shop for various reasons such as age,
There are only a few people who run shops these days.
But for my nephew, I went to the store I used to go to when I was in middle school.
That kind of thing is also nostalgic.

However, as someone who prides himself on being a shopping junkie, I can't help but buy something for myself (lol)
But I no longer buy just because it's on sale or because it's cheap.
Proof that you've become a bit of an adult? I think.
I don't really want that much right now (I know it sounds like a lie), but
If I'm going to go shopping anyway, I'd rather shop at someone I know or someone I've helped.
It sounds good if you say "give back", so I'll leave it that way!

This year's first round of shopping for the new year was at Roots , which held the event last year .
What's amazing about this store is that even though it's the New Year, there are hardly any sales.
Spring items are already filling the stores.
It's a famous shop in Hiroshima and all over Japan, so it's often sold out before it goes on sale.
What surprised me most was that they had an incredible amount of stock of the ultra-luxury brand "Mouret."
A 200,000 yen Mouret sells better than a 100,000 yen one.
This is a popular store that lets you hear stories like this early in the new year.
Perhaps the number of stocks is the highest in the world, let alone Japan? There might be.

But I digress,
The one I purchased this time is the "Jabs Alkivio" setup jersey, which has become popular over the past few years.
I thought that no matter how old I got, I would never wear a jersey as a set-up.
Actually, jerseys are easy when you turn 40☆
Well, it's fashionable for young people in their 20s to wear.
When an old man wears it, he just looks sloppy.
It kind of reminds me of the lame athletes from a while ago.
I hated it and thought I would never wear it.
I can't wear fashionable clothes when playing with my children.

Actually, I forgot to bring my clothes with me when I went home.
For the time being, I was introduced to some items that I thought I would be able to wear for a while.
For the price, it's not cute.
I shop at high-end stores, even if they're bad, so it's rude to comment on the price.
I almost leaked it when I was paying the bill (lol)
However, I cannot say in front of the people who are taking care of me that I will not buy it after all.
I'm sure the item is reliable and I bought it at Eiyaa.

Feeling excited, I returned to the hotel, changed clothes, and went to my sister's family's room.
“Are you going out in your night clothes?” my sister asked.
For those who aren't interested in clothes, jerseys are nightwear, regardless of the price.
I understand, but when you actually say it, I get depressed.
After explaining various things and telling him the price, he gave up.
It's been difficult since the new year.

I have a feeling this year will be rough again, but...
It's going to be a fun year!
