今日は成人式

Today is the coming-of-age ceremony

Congratulations to all the new adults.

Today, when I passed by the beauty salon, there were many newly grown women getting their hair, makeup, and kimonos done.

They will probably take pictures with their parents and go to the venue.

As a parent, it must be very emotional to think that your child has become an adult.

The coming-of-age ceremony of your child will come someday...

I'm sure I'll be crying in the morning (lol)

It's been 17 years since I became an adult.

I still feel like a 25 year old old man,

I did not attend the coming-of-age ceremony.

I don't understand the meaning of attending the coming-of-age ceremony due to my family circumstances (not that I'm poor) or my own feelings.

I must have been annoyed by the people who were getting excited about it, saying it was a coming-of-age ceremony for me, who had been working since I was 18.

In short, it was just perverse.

On that day, I remember drinking with a friend in a similar situation at a pub in Shibuya.

It seems unreasonable to suddenly treat someone as an adult when they turn 20.

But if I don't do it at some point, I won't be able to realize it forever...

There are many people who have not yet become adults even at the age of 30 or 40.

Still, I feel like people in their 20s these days are admirable.

Did you grow up being told that you were a relaxed generation or a satori generation? I wonder if it's a generation.

Even when talking to customers in their 20s, they can use honorific language and have good manners.

Rather, people of the same age as me or older than me...? I feel like that.

Of course, I don't think that's everything,

Children will become adults on their own. ← Famous quote (lol)

“This is why young people these days”…

What can I say, it's a thing of the past.

New adults who will lead Japan to a brighter future.

And people of the younger generation and people in their 20s.

It may not yet happen, but it will happen in the future.

Enjoy today to the fullest,

Please build a wonderful world.

Old men and women, let's do our best without giving up.

Ah, the Japanese sword in this photo has no particular meaning.
