デッドストックは新品という意味ではありません。

Dead stock does not mean new.

"

Most vintage items have been manufactured for more than 20 years.

Most of our products are "second hand" items that have been used more than once.

There are rare items that come out as "dead stock = unused".

However, dead stock is not new.

The definition of dead stock varies depending on the store, but

It is not used “on a daily basis” by us,

We treat it as dead stock because it still has shipping stickers attached to the back cover, etc.

There are some exceptions depending on the conditions.

However, as I wrote earlier, if more than 20 years have passed since manufacture,

There is some kind of damage.

If it is mechanical, oil may stick, etc.

In the case of quartz watches, there is almost always battery leakage.

Well, we do all the maintenance including that, so

I personally don't think it's a big problem.

We have parts in stock so we will restock them.

As a result, customers are able to purchase an individual in excellent condition.

Ah, I'm going to do some maintenance on this one and sell it.

I am moved by how often these individuals come out in this day and age.

This watch is a particularly popular vintage model.

I think this is something to look forward to!
