仕入れた時はこんな感じです。

This is what it looks like when I purchased it.

I just got this Rolex Air King the other day.

We will be doing some maintenance from now on, but it is in pretty bad shape right after we bought it.

It appears that this item has never been maintained before.

There are scratches and dirt on every corner of the case, and the gasket has hardened.

There was no oil for the machine, so when I wound it by hand it made a creaking noise.

Although the windshield had been replaced earlier, it was still cracked.

As you can see, the clasp pin on the bracelet is missing and it is dirty.

So why did we purchase it in this condition?

The dial and hands are original and in very good condition.

The case is also unpolished, so the lugs are sturdy.

This might be a bit nerdy, but the index is a slightly unusual type of bar index.

I was hoping to purchase it if it fit my budget, so I'm glad I was able to make the purchase.

We will be overhauling the engine, replacing gaskets, and refinishing the exterior.

It will take about a month for detailed maintenance to be performed, including replacing the clasp pin.

Many vintage watches are cleaned up starting from a worn out condition,

It is very important to know what the original condition was.

Then I thank the craftsman who did the work and wait for him to return.

As it is one of my personal favourite watches, I can't wait any longer!
