It has been about a month and a half since we changed our store logo.

Since the store first opened, the store's image color has been,

The base color is navy blue, which is said to convey a sense of trust.

This time, we are celebrating 10 years since our opening and taking on a new challenge in Tokyo.

I decided to change it to "Yellow".

The reason we chose yellow as our image color this time was because the logo designer,

At the suggestion of Mr. Kanasaka of "Auram Inc.", the door was chosen to be the same color as the office entrance door.

"The SOHO," where our office is located, was designed by Mr. Katayama of "Wonderwall," who was also responsible for the store design of Ape Store and Pierre Hermé.

The fact that many of the stores familiar to us were tenanted by Mr. Katayama, who designed the building,

I can only say that I am deeply moved.

Mr. Kanasaka, who is of the same generation and works as a designer,

We wanted to take Katayama's intentions into account.

Discussions about the logo began last December.

It was a rare day of heavy snowfall in Tokyo, with snow accumulating.

The color of the store was decided at a relatively early stage.

Mr. Kanesaka's strong will that nothing other than yellow is possible from every point of view,

The couple had complete confidence in him, as he was in charge of the design for "OTTOMO," a brand they both love.

I decided to leave it all to you.

If you are a weak company whose performance fluctuates when you change your logo or image color,

It would be better to close the company as soon as possible.

Rather, I asked him to help me improve my business performance.

There was no doubt that we had chosen him to be in charge of the design this time.

As for the actual logo design, there were about five ideas.

Although I think they are all attractive and hard to throw away,

The current design was an immediate decision that the couple made.

The "g" is designed to look like a watch hand, and is in the center on both sides.

The spacing between letters and the volume of the "R" have been carefully designed.

In addition, the angle of the diagonal lines in the letter "g" and those in the letters "V" and "W" are symmetrical to create a sense of unity.

Once again, the importance and depth of design,

It's wonderful no matter how many times you see something that lets you feel the designer's intentions.

I am moved every time I see it because we ordered it ourselves.

To have our feelings understood and designed,

Above all else, they put us first,

I always feel the accumulation of these things.

I'm a complete amateur when it comes to design,

I am extremely grateful to Mr. Kanasaka for his careful and easy-to-understand explanations, even for a beginner.

I feel excited to think that our 10th year will start from here.

I feel that this design will continue to be a part of us in the future.

The design we gave to the customer when we requested this design,
