ミニマリストの嫁と、そうでない自分。

My wife is a minimalist and I am not.

It's been a while since I've read it again : ``French people only own 10 pairs of clothes.''

I don't know what the facts are, but it became a hot topic a while ago.
I feel like the word "minimalist" started to be heard a lot after this book was published.

In my family, my wife is definitely a minimalist.
I don't own many things,
Whenever I have free time, I organize my house, saying to myself, "Decluttering."
Thanks to that, I don't think we have that many things in our house other than our own.
I can say with confidence that it is a beautiful home.

This happened after my child was born.
Until then, I will work hard every day to achieve what I want.
I think it was a typical way of life for someone in their 20s.
After the child is born, if it becomes ``things for three people'',
Homes often feel small.
Of course, with the birth of a fourth child, things will increase even more.
I can't afford to move right away.

Because of that,
I am truly grateful to my wife,
She says she gets nagged every time she buys something.
Well, I'm ignoring it (lol)
However, I also have my own valid reasons for buying various things.

As long as you are running a store,
Not only our own products but also the products of other companies,
Things that interest you, things that are popular, things that are popular,
Out of all the things, if I think of this, I'll buy it.
Then try using it and form your own opinion.
By doing so, it becomes part of your knowledge,
We believe that we can also make suggestions to our customers.

Nowadays, you can find all sorts of information by looking at reviews online.
It's just another person's opinion,
If you don't have your own impressions, it won't be interesting at all.
As I have written in previous blogs,
To have your own opinion, there are various things,
Experiencing a lot of things is more than a negative side.
The positives are far greater.
Because of that, I'm confident that I have less money in my wallet than a high school student (lol)

Personally, whether you are a minimalist or not, there is no "right" answer.
I think it's good to have different ways of thinking.
However, I really hate the phrase "I don't want to fail."

Although you may fail and lose money,
It is only through repeated failures that you will discover what you need.
Even if you only have the opinions of others and what is considered to be infallible from the beginning,
There is no ``self'' or ``self-ness.''

If there is a "correct answer" in fashion or other lifestyle matters, please let me know.
It's fun because there's no correct answer,
Fashion and lifestyle are just "self-expression".
That's why it's weird to have a correct answer.
So failure doesn't even exist in the first place.

That said, in the future,
I feel like I want to keep only the bare essentials.
As written in the book, if you have only a few "high-quality things",
There's no need to have more than you need.

“Less is more” = Less is richer.
This is a famous quote from my favorite architect, Mies van der Rohe.
The important thing is to determine what you need,
It's not about having a lot, but
And it's not like you don't have it at all.

I think it's more important than anything for me to encounter ``if only I had this''.
To achieve this, instead of thinking through the screen,
Listen to the people at the store and the voices of others.
In the end, it means "thinking".

When I reread a book I read a long time ago,
You may unexpectedly find the answer you want right now.
The only thing you have to be careful about is
I guess I have to make sure I don't get cut off... (lol)
