ちょっとだけ昔を振り返る。

Let's look back a little bit on the past.

It's been raining every day lately.
At that time, I suddenly remembered when I moved to Tokyo when I was younger.
Mid-June when I was 19 years old.
On that day, it was raining heavily in Tokyo, just like it is now.
I rolled into my sister's house with a large bag in my hands and on my back.

Although I graduated from high school and went to college,
"Why do I have to pay a lot of money to be told something that I can find out by researching?"
A week after thinking this, I quit university and worked part-time every day for about a year.
It is normal to work without sleeping for three days,
If you don't sleep that much, you'll definitely notice something wrong with your memory or your behavior.
I can understand it myself.
Sleep is really important.

Well, this is a little off-topic, but
Through hard work, I was able to save about 1 million yen.
At best, a high school graduate could earn 800 yen per hour.
That's the hourly wage at a convenience store late at night,
I think how blessed I am now.
Even just 1 million yen can disappear in an instant if you live in Tokyo.

Still, I have to earn enough money to support myself,
I started looking for a job the day after I arrived in Tokyo.
Well, this is a series of spectacular rejections,
I remained unemployed for two months.
Now that I think about it, I should have just chosen my job.
Since I moved to Tokyo with a dream, I want to do what I want to do.

Even though I finally decided on a part-time job, the hourly wage was 850 yen + transportation expenses per day.
I am satisfied with myself, walking and living alone in the Tokyo of my dreams.
However, whether it's good or bad, anything is possible when you live in Tokyo.
There are so many different kinds of people,
You can do anything you can imagine...
I have nothing but desire (lol)
But reality doesn't work out that way.

At that time, we could call it labor infrastructure like we do now.
Without these things in place, unpaid overtime and power harassment are commonplace.
In the midst of an employment ice age, people commit suicide on some railway line almost every day.
Nowadays, many things have been improved regarding labor,
Looking back at those days, there were many times when I thought, ``That's out.''
But it is also true that if you work hard, you can make it big.

There are people who earn an annual income of 10 million yen just from part-time jobs, and there are others.
whispered fruitfully,
Even now, around Kabukicho, the night town,
I have even heard that there are millionaires in my age group.
If you think about it that way, even if times and environments change,
In the end, if you're willing to die and work hard, you can do anything.
Moreover, the swing of the Nantoka,
It's also big because it's Tokyo.

I have been receiving the same low salary for about two years now.
When I first came to Tokyo, when I entered Yoshinoya, I ordered ``large size (I think there was no special size) + egg + miso soup.''
I had the experience of getting lower and lower rank: only a large portion -> average + eggs -> average + a heaping amount of ginger -> only an average size -> nothing.
At that time, the office worker next to me who was eating
When I saw him eating heaps of ginger,
I think, “I don’t want to be like that,” and I become that.
It's like ``Kino Idori becomes Kino I''...

After that, I couldn't eat at shops or convenience stores because I didn't have any money.
Ladders in the tasting corner of department stores and supermarkets.
At the age when you can get hungry if you have time to eat a lot,
I think that was a really tough experience.

This story has been told several times
And as I said to some people,
Now I can manage to live a daily life,
I was happily married and had children.
I am able to make a decent living, but
If you have had a bad experience,
I feel like I can always climb back out.
Even if things were to turn out like they were back then,
I think I can stand up to it.
at least,
It's much more convenient now than when I moved to Tokyo,
I feel that life has become much easier in many ways.

But no matter what era it is,
There is no change in "trying hard",
You don't have to be good at it,
It doesn't matter if you're not good at it or not.

By the way, there are success stories after that.
I don't know what's going on in my life.
Well, stories of misfortune are probably more fun than stories like that.
I’ll leave it at that for today (lol)

So, this is a very long introduction,
Why did I write this?
Nowadays, most people have smartphones and computers,
You can get information about anything.
We live in a truly convenient world.
When I first moved to Tokyo, finding a property was quite difficult.

Nowadays, most information can be found on the internet.
If anything, you may be able to sign a contract for that room as is.
Although some had homepages at that time,
In reality, I often looked for a room locally.
It takes time and effort.
I hope I find a good real estate agent,
If not... nothing good will happen.

I wanted to be a little grateful for such a convenient world.
In other words, I had "free time" all day.
