「着飾る」ではなく「装う」

“dress up” instead of “dress up”

Although I don't usually wear them, there is a saying about men's suits.

Yesterday I went to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine for Shichigosan.

The first time I went to Dazaifu was for my child's Shichi-Go-San festival.

Furthermore, five years ago, I never dreamed that I would be celebrating Shichi-Go-San in Dazaifu.

Actually, I learned for the first time on this occasion that you have to be properly dressed in front of the shrine.

If you want to go in casual clothes...✖.

I only wear a suit a few times a year, but this fall I wore a suit for the first time.

I always order my own suits from a place in Hiroshima called " The My Way ," which I have introduced several times in the past.

I have gotten along really well with the representative, Mr. Shimizu.

Sometimes when we go out for drinks, he always tells me interesting stories and I always learn things that are good for me.

Although he is younger than me, he is able to pay close attention to detail and does it casually.

He is truly a "classy" guy.

It seems that they will start operating at a new store and renew their website at the same time.

I want you to continue to work harder than ever!

Nowadays, even custom-made suits can be bought cheaply,

What's more important than the price is having the product made exactly the way you want it.

If you don't order a suit from someone who does exactly what you ask for and does all the details, things will be difficult.

It may be similar to a watch, but it is one of the items that you should ask someone you trust and who understands what you are talking about.

Well, as usual, the introduction is long, but this time I'll talk about the "attire" of a suit.

Now that I'm self-employed, I don't really wear suits much anymore.

I wore it every day when I was an office worker.

At that time, I thought it was something I would wear every day, so I tried a lot of different things.

``Two Price'' stores are all over the place, and the prices are really reasonable.

Recently, there have been more fabrics and variations, but the durability is not so good.

Also, the size doesn't fit me as I have larger shoulders and chest.

The basis for matching clothes, not just suits, is shoulder width.

If you match that, you'll have to choose something that someone around 180cm will wear, so the length will be a little longer.

By the way, I'm 173cm, so I'm pretty short...I don't care (lol)

For this reason, I have often worn imported items for everyday wear.

If that happens, the price will more than double.

Recently popular Italian made jackets start at 80,000 yen.

Isn't the average price for a suit starting at 150,000 yen?

It's so expensive that I can't buy many clothes.

Furthermore, imported items seem to be strangely trendy these days.

This year's clothes may look cool if you wear them now, but they will look old in a few years.

In particular, patterned clothing can only be worn for about 3 years at most.

It feels a bit of a waste for people who wear it every day.

Therefore, the option of having a custom-made suit is actually an option.

For some reason, I don't think people think that custom-made suits are extremely expensive.

Is it because you make it to suit yourself? You can choose the fabric, but are they all expensive? Will the price go up if I add details?

That's not true at all.

Even though we say "order," a "full order" made from fabric may cost hundreds of thousands or even millions of yen.

Most of the suits are made to order by pattern, so the suit is made from the original pattern and is tailored to suit you, so the price is not that high.

I think it would be better to ask a specialist shop for details.

It depends on how much you want to do it, but even if you use famous brand fabric, it will probably cost around 100,000 yen at most.

The one I ordered this time was made from a material similar to flannel called "Saxony."

It's a fabric that originated in Germany, so it's soft and warm.

It's also durable and has a little stretch, so it's extremely easy to wear.

The lining is gray cupro to match the front, and the buttons are black lipped because the fabric is matte.

The shape is Florentine style with an unlined back, barca pockets, side vents, and 3 buttons.

The pants are 2-out pleats with a hem width of 17cm and a double folded back of 5cm...

What are most people probably saying? I think it will be (lol)

However, suits have different shapes and details depending on the country or region, so they are deep and interesting.

If you learn about these things from the knowledge from the shop staff or from books, you will enjoy wearing suits even more.

My body shape is the width of my shoulders and chest compared to my back, my arms and legs are slender, and my face is big...

I have a body that makes me want to be reborn a little (lol)

I really can't find any ready-made products that match that.

So I was repairing ready-made products, but the cost of repair is surprisingly not cheap.

Rather than buying a ready-made suit for 100,000 yen, it would be cheaper and faster to order it from the beginning.

But what's more important is...

``If you're going to go to the trouble of ordering something, make sure it's really high quality and sturdy.''

Just like watches, you can't judge suits based on price alone.

The fabric of expensive mode brand suits is certainly soft and comfortable.

But the thinness of the fabric is also an important point.

This is because the fabric is not very durable, so it won't last that long.

``Comfortable,'' ``light,'' and ``soft'' are achieved by making the fabric thinner.

So even if you buy something thinking it will last a lifetime, you won't be able to wear it for more than 10 years.

But even before that, the shape may become outdated after 10 years.

There are also similar OEM brands that are popular recently.

Every year we make a lot of interesting and beautifully woven fabrics and turn them into products.

There are many things that you can tell at a glance, and while it's okay for casual wear, it feels a little flashy for business wear.

It might be okay if this was Italy, but

There are not many Japanese businessmen who have a body shape or dark face that suits them.

First of all, the quality is not just good for now, it is important to choose a fabric with a solid weave so that you can wear it for a long time to come.

If you do that, you won't have the softness and lightness of trendy fabrics,

The more you wear it, the more it will become familiar to you.

Of course, since it is made of fabric, it may tear or tear someday.

At that time, you can modify it and wear it again.

Recently, Britain's Prince Charles' outfit has become a hot topic of conversation.

In fact, so many people have been using the same suits and shoes for decades, patching together their suits and shoes.

It is a stylish and cool outfit that can be said to be a model for a true gentleman.

However, when he was younger, he was thought to be ``uncool.''

It's wonderful that these aspects, including his unwavering attitude, are now attracting attention.

And if you create something truly well, you can pass it on to your children.

Apparently in the UK, people pass on suits and shoes to their children by patching them together, like Prince Charles mentioned earlier.

When I heard about this, I was impressed that it was possible to inherit not only watches but also clothing and shoes.

That's why what should be passed on is ``normal.'' Ordinary.

It's the same with watches, but wouldn't it be a problem if you received something that was so big and shiny that it would cost tens or even hundreds of thousands of yen to repair?

If your suit is from an old brand, has an old-fashioned shape, or is flashy, you may not need it any more than a watch.

Rather than that, I don't feel bad about getting something that is universal and has a standard fabric, color, and shape throughout the ages.

After all, suits were apparently perfected in the 1950s.

Every man should have at least one item that is absolutely foolproof.

When our child is a boy and we want to leave him something in the future, we don't leave him any money.

If you want to carry on something more traditional, not only watches but also suits and shoes may be good.

As long as your body type suits you at that time, if you keep that in mind,

I now choose things that I can use and cherish not only now but in the future.

Really good products are never cheap, but they don't have to be too expensive either.

Cultivate your own eyes that can see things of proper quality,

Isn't it nice and romantic to leave behind something you've chosen?

...Actually, I don't usually take selfies, so this photo feels a bit strange (lol)

It's not something you're used to doing.

This may be the last time I post a selfie (lol)
