Regarding the watch repair requested by our client the other day.
Although the watch underwent an overhaul around March of this year, the mainspring broke, so we replaced it this time.

When performing repairs on vintage watches and the like, our shop makes it a practice to use existing parts whenever they are still functional.
The reason for this is that replacing individual parts can be quite costly, and we also feel it is a waste not to utilize parts that still have life in them.
Depending on the frequency of use, even slightly worn parts can often last for a long time, and parts can simply be replaced at the appropriate time. While we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, please be assured that we will always handle any issues that arise with thorough repair services.
Although the warranty period following the previous overhaul had slightly expired, our shop does not necessarily charge for every repair once the warranty ends; depending on the craftsman's judgment, we may sometimes only charge for the cost of the parts.
This time, the cost was:
Mainspring replacement: ¥8,800
With this, it should be good for long-term use again, but please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any further concerns!
