The watch had completed its overhaul and was delivered in March of this year,
but the customer reported that manual winding was no longer possible, so we provided repair services.
Upon initially checking the watch's condition and operating the crown,
the crown was spinning freely, indicating a broken mainspring.
Upon internal inspection, the mainspring was indeed broken,
so we replaced the mainspring this time.
We sincerely apologize that such a symptom appeared so soon after delivery.
When we perform overhauls or other repairs at our company,
we try to use as many reusable parts as possible.
This is because we believe that replacing parts like the mainspring every time an overhaul is done
would increase costs and burden the customer. However,
in cases of part replacement after an overhaul, we only charge for the cost of the part,
and no labor fee.
For this mainspring replacement, the cost is ¥8,800.
We apologize for the concern caused to our valued customer, but the delivery is now complete.
Now it can be used for a long time again.
We prioritize work on malfunctions that occur after a repair
to address them as quickly as possible.
