夏が近づいて来ましたので注意事項をご確認ください。

As summer approaches, please review the following precautions.

We recently repaired a customer's watch as requested.

This time, we replaced the battery and also changed the strap.

Watch batteries typically run out in about a year and a half,

so we recommend replacing them as soon as possible when they die.

Leaving a dead battery unattended can cause battery leakage,

damaging parts such as circuits and gears.

What should have been fixable with a battery replacement or overhaul may become unfixable,

and in the worst case, it might require manufacturer repair.

Even if it can be repaired by the manufacturer, sometimes it's not possible to repair it because the production of the movement has been discontinued.

While we take full responsibility for repairing all watches sold by us,

we would like to reiterate the precautions for battery-powered watches.

・Replace the battery as soon as possible if you notice it's dead.

・Do not directly expose the watch to water, regardless of its water resistance.

・Do not use the watch near water.

・Avoid using non-waterproof watches or watches with daily life water resistance on humid days.

・Be careful of strong impacts such as bumping or dropping the watch.

・Do not place the watch near electronic devices such as smartphones and tablets, or strong magnetic objects like magnets.

These are simple points, but just being mindful of the above

will significantly reduce damage to your watch.

Especially now, Japan is entering the rainy season and summer rains, which will increase humidity,

and typhoons are also expected to have some impact.

There's no need to be overly nervous, just a little care is enough.

Of course, if anything happens to your watch, we will handle it thoroughly.

Also, leather watch straps are prone to absorbing odors from sweat,

so we recommend simple care such as wiping off sweat after use.

It may not be easy to frequently replace a leather strap,

but please request a strap replacement if you notice it's damaged, similar to the care mentioned above.

If you have any questions about how to use your watch,

please feel free to contact us anytime!
