We recently repaired a customer's watch.
This time, the crown got caught and lost.
In addition to the overhaul, we also installed the crown and winding core.

The situation is a little different from the Omega I repaired previously.
We repair from a state where no parts are available.
Many vintage watches do not have screw-down crowns,
The part that holds the spool in place is called the screw.
Current models often have screw-down crowns that use springs to hold the winding core in place,
There is little damage such as the crown falling out.
Current products are created by improving the weaknesses of past products,
The latest models are less likely to break, not just watches, but many other products.
This is also a corporate effort,
If you feel that you can become more attached to something if it takes a little more effort,
I like vintage and antique items.
This repair will be performed with a compatible crown,
I don't have a reel, so I'll have to either look for the original or make one myself.
In any case, I honestly thought it would take a long time.
Luckily the repair was completed in about a month.
The crown was attached using a stock part that looked good.
The core is remade by cutting together pieces of similar shape.
There was no machine oil inside, but there was no wear on the parts.
This time
Overhaul ¥30,800
Crown installation ¥4,400
Custom core ¥11,000
Total: 46,200 yen
Although I had given up at first, the repair turned out surprisingly well.
I'm sure many customers have the same symptoms,
I think they may have refused to repair it due to other symptoms.
Of course, the response varies depending on the store,
We will do our best to repair any watch that we think can be repaired.
If you have a watch that you would like to repair and use,
