Watch repair for a customer, which we received a request for the other day.
This time, the request was for a battery replacement.
Battery replacement takes about 5 minutes.
Open the case back, replace the battery, and close the case back.
Since it's a simple task, it doesn't take much time,
but for watches purchased from our store, we also clean the exterior.
For watches with bracelets, we remove the bracelet and clean it with an ultrasonic cleaner.
Then, we use a brush to remove dirt from the crevices, clean it as much as possible, and dry it.
In parallel, we clean the watch case and,
apply grease to the gasket, and demagnetize the watch if it shows signs of magnetism.
After the above work is completed, we replace the battery.
After that, we check the accuracy, and if there are no problems, we return it to the customer.
The total work time is about 15 minutes, and all services are free of charge.
We only ask the customer to cover the round-trip shipping costs,
and if the watch does not operate normally after battery replacement, we recommend an overhaul.
