This time, the glass was broken, so the glass was replaced and overhauled.
We received an order for a belt replacement and genuine buckle.
The mast tank uses mineral glass as a windshield, so it can shatter if it is hit in the wrong place.
If you purchase a mast tank from our store, the price will be 8,800 yen if it is a new non-OEM part.
If you have a used item with a small scratch, we will replace it free of charge if it is a genuine part.
This time we replaced it with a used genuine glass, and also overhauled it because glass fragments had gotten into the machine.
Also, the belt was damaged so I replaced it as well.
At the customer's request, we arranged for an original buckle to be installed.
Apparently, you can only get the genuine buckle by ordering a strap from Cartier, so the cost of the strap alone starts from 50,000 yen.
That was very expensive, so I searched for a used buckle and was able to find one for 22,000 yen this time.
Watch repairs aren't cheap.
If you ask the manufacturer to repair it, the cost will be so high that it would cost enough to buy a watch.
I want to keep costs down as much as possible, but I also want the repairs to be done properly.
