The "Unicorn Gundam", which has been a symbol of Odaiba for about nine years, is leaving.
The final show was performed at the end of August,
and many people gathered in Odaiba to bid it farewell.
Our family also went to see the show several times at night,
and I would walk past the Unicorn Gundam on my commute,
so it was not only a symbol of Odaiba but also a "colleague" in my mind,
and I felt a little emotional during the final show.
From the time of the first Gundam, I brought my nephew here,
and when my eldest child was small, we went to see the Unicorn Gundam many times,
so there are many memories here.
Dismantling work has already begun in September, and there are no plans for the next Gundam statue, but
perhaps there are plans to build a new Gundam?
Or will something happen in 2027 for Gundam's 50th anniversary, starting with Makuhari?
Another symbol of Odaiba is gone, but I look forward to what comes next.
