「ヴィンテージ」と評価したいドルチェ&ガッバーナのデニム。

Dolce & Gabbana denim that I'd rate as "vintage."

I recently acquired a pair of Dolce & Gabbana boro denim from around 1999.

Dolce & Gabbana took the millennial generation by storm.

The "tailored jacket x denim" style, which is now a staple in men's fashion,

can largely be attributed to Dolce & Gabbana's influence at the time.

Later, many dazzling "luxury denim" items, adorned with embellishments, began to appear.

However, before 2000, their items were often chic and rugged, rather than having the flashy image they have today.

The new collection had a nostalgic feel, like a return to their origins.

When talking about denim from that era or vintage denim, brands like Levi's and Lee are indispensable.

Originally workwear from over 100 years ago, denim began to be used as a fashion item around the 1960s.

It was in the 1990s that denim, cherished by fashion icons of various eras such as mods, rockers, and hippies, truly matured.

Fueled by the vintage denim boom in Japan, various denim products were produced by fashion brands worldwide.

Now, not only true vintage denim, but also older denim from existing brands, has seen a rise in popularity.

However, Dolce & Gabbana denim is surprisingly not often mentioned, whether it's garnering attention or not.

Perhaps most people's image of the brand is of the luxurious items from the millennium onwards.

Currently, not many people specifically focus on items from before the millennium.

However, if you look for them, you'll find many surprisingly interesting pieces.

The thickness of the fabric on these jeans, beyond their rugged design, is quite rare.

This heavy-ounce denim, suitable only for deep winter, is thought by those knowledgeable about denim to be from Levi's.

While the facts are unclear, things that no longer exist or are inconceivable today

are part of the charm of vintage items.

I expect vintage items from these brands to gain attention soon,

so I'm eagerly awaiting that time, hoping they will truly transform.
