The Cartier Santos Galbée that arrived today is the final version of the quartz model introduced in 1986.
It is a rare item that appeared around the end of the 1990s and was discontinued shortly after.

The Santos Galbée quartz model was offered in stainless steel, two-tone, and solid gold versions.
It was available with several dial variations,
and for the stainless steel model, there are three types:
blue Roman numeral indices, upright Roman numeral indices,
and this black Roman numeral index version.
While blue Roman numeral indices and upright Roman numeral indices are seen occasionally,
black Roman numeral indices are relatively rare,
due to the short production period.
With the black Roman numeral indices on a dial design typical of Cartier,
the watch itself takes on a more refined and modern appearance.

The Cartier LM size, which today mainly features a lineup of mechanical watches.
Until the early 2000s, quartz models were also available in the LM size,
and in addition to the design of the watch, the movement also provided a wider range of choices.
However, as men's watches became predominantly mechanical,
the reduction in highly practical quartz models is somewhat regrettable.
Everyone has their own preferences, but the convenience of a quartz watch that requires no daily adjustment,
and a movement that operates with consistent accuracy, feel perfectly suited to modern life.
For people living overly busy modern lives, even adjusting a watch can be an extra step,
so there is no watch more practical, including its exceptional design.

Also, from around the late 1990s, the later-style bracelet with a folding clasp became the standard.
Although the bracelet cannot be finely adjusted, so the fit is somewhat approximate,
it pairs well with the strongly curved case design,
and is an important component that gives the watch a more modern impression.

As this is an older model, the watch is smaller than current models.
It is small enough that it would look natural on a woman,
but as smaller-diameter watches are gradually becoming the mainstream trend,
it is a size that can be worn comfortably without feeling out of place.
As a quartz model, the watch is relatively slim,
but the case design, size, and angle of the curves, all designed to fit the wrist,
show that Cartier's products are based on ergonomic design.
For this sale, we have also had Cartier perform a complete service,
replacing necessary parts with new ones and polishing the exterior,
bringing it to a beautiful condition close to new.
You cannot find another watch with such excellent practicality and design.
This is a piece we highly recommend, including its maintenance.
Do not miss this opportunity!
