ちょっと珍しい1969年製のオメガ・レクタングルモデル。

A somewhat rare 1969 Omega Rectangle model.

The "Omega Rectangle Model" that arrived today features a rare and edgy case design.

The dial's indexes also have a unique arrangement, making it a truly vintage piece.

Most wristwatches are round, and

brands that primarily feature rectangular models, like Cartier and Jaeger-LeCoultre, are rare.

Among them, Omega has a track record of incorporating various designs and

meeting diverse needs, often showing its specialization in watch manufacturing by

changing sizes by millimeters even for similar watches.

This particular rectangular model is not widely circulated,

and if found, only a few have "De Ville" inscribed.

It's quite rare for the dial to not have a model name, as seen here.

It gives an impression closer to a Jaeger-LeCoultre rectangular model than a Cartier Tank,

with a suitably voluminous angular case design, and

I'm speculating that the case manufacturer might be the same.

On the dial, the bar indexes at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions are arranged vertically in pairs,

adding a touch of playfulness.

The design and details of this watch, which are not found in standard items,

are overflowing with the charm unique to vintage watches.

The movement is the Cal.620, which was primarily circulated in ladies' models at the time.

This small-sized movement, also adopted in men's models,

is a masterpiece with an abundant supply of parts, ensuring easy maintenance.

One of Omega's charms is the overwhelming abundance of parts available and

the fact that many watchmakers can repair movements, excluding complex mechanisms,

making it possible to use and maintain them for a long time.

The charm and atmosphere of the rectangular model, which stand apart from round watches,

blend seamlessly with any wrist or attire.

This rectangular Omega is a rare find among mostly round models.

It has a different impression from the Tank and a good size,

and the classical watch impression perfectly suits the current mood.

The accessible and relatively affordable price is also a key point, but

as a vintage watch, it is, of course, a one-of-a-kind item.

Don't miss this opportunity!
