The so-called "floral script" printed at the 6 o'clock position is proof of this.
SD dials, seen only in high-end models like Grand Seiko,
were later phased out under the pretext of cost reduction,
so it is difficult to find pieces with such details.
The GS Second's most striking feature is its sense of volume.
With a larger case size than any previous Grand Seiko,
it gives a masculine impression that is unimaginable from the GS First.
It fully expresses Seiko's spirit of solid practicality,
and is a work that proved that Grand Seiko, Seiko's top-tier brand, was more practical
and of world-class quality.
In recent years, opportunities to acquire a GS Second have become limited,
and prices have risen compared to before.
However, it is still a GS that can be acquired within reach,
so considering its condition, now is the best time to buy.
