非常にレアなXLサイズのサントスガルベ。

Very rare XL size Santos Galbee.

The "Cartier Santos Galbee" that arrived today is the extremely rare XL size.

Surprisingly, many people don't know about this watch.

Santos Galbee was born around 1979, a few years after Santos Carree.

It was first released as a quartz model.

Compared to the Santos Carree, the case and bracelet have a more rounded design.

The glass is also designed to curve,

The structure has been improved to fit the wrist even better.

Then, around 1999, the quartz model Santos Galbee and

The automatic Santos Scale was integrated,

All designs will be unified under the Santos Galbee design.

The SM size is only available as a quartz model, while the LM size is temporarily available as both a quartz model and an automatic model.

In 2004, the Santos 100 was released to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Santos brand.

At the time, large watches known as "big, thick" watches were all the rage.

The size of watches from various brands, including Panerai and Graham, has become increasingly large.

The Santos 100 also became one of the watches that played a role in the creation of large watches.

Later, in 2005, the Santos Galbee was released in a larger XL size.

It was overshadowed by the explosive popularity of the Santos 100.

The Santos Galbee XL is slightly smaller than the Santos 100 in terms of size.

It was just the right size for a bracelet watch,

It was not quite satisfying given the boom in larger watches at the time.

Eventually, a bracelet version of the Santos 100 was released,

The bracelet-type Santos became more popular,

The Santos Galbee XL failed to make a name for itself and production was discontinued.

The original Santos Galbee XL was a great choice, including the size.

Due to the changing times, they were treated somewhat unfairly.

However, in recent years, watches have become smaller and smaller.

The traditional style of choosing a watch based on your wrist size is back.

However, for those who find the size of a vintage model to be too small,

Vintage models tend to be small, but current pre-owned watches tend to be large.

It was also difficult to choose something that was the right size.

We have heard such comments from people in our store many times.

Focusing on "Neo-vintage" watches from the early 2000s,

I have handled a few relatively new Santos Galbee XLs,

It was a huge success, selling out immediately every time.

In my case, my wrist is 16.5cm, so it's not that big.

The Santos Galbee XL feels a little large,

This watch is the perfect size for those with a wrist circumference of around 18cm or larger.

It is not a flashy design like the current product,

It has a very calm design that is similar to a vintage model.

What's most attractive is that it's in near-unused condition.

It was in such a beautiful condition that I wondered if it was an exhibit.

Polishing has never been done.

There are few opportunities to see it due to the original circumstances,

It is likely that the Santos Galbee XL was produced in extremely small numbers compared to the Santos 100.

This is the first time we've had this in stock in several years, so it's not something you see often.

I've been interested in Santos Galbee for a while now, but the size is small.

I want a Santos Galbee XL but I'm looking for one in good condition.

It is a wonderful specimen that seems to be able to meet the needs of many people,

Don't miss this opportunity.

This is one watch you will never regret buying.
