This time, the crown was spinning freely when winding the watch, so we replaced the mainspring as part of regular maintenance, and the crystal was noticeably scratched, so we replaced that as well.
Since we have stock parts for each, the mainspring was replaced at the same time as the overhaul, and the crystal was replaced during the case cleaning, completing the work.
