We recently repaired a customer's watch.
This time, they requested an overhaul and exterior polishing.

It had been 11 years since the purchase.
This was its first overhaul, and we expected that some parts might need to be replaced.
However, since it hadn't been worn that often, the work was completed with a standard overhaul.
The customer also mentioned that they were concerned about scratches on the exterior after extended use,
so we took this opportunity to polish the exterior as well.
During an overhaul, cases and bracelets are cleaned,
but this doesn't remove scratches.
If you want to remove scratches on the exterior, polishing is necessary.
As long as you wear a watch, scratches are unavoidable,
but if you have it polished during an overhaul, it can be restored to a near-new condition.
If you're concerned about scratches on your watch after using it for a while,
please feel free to request exterior polishing when you bring it in for an overhaul!
