We were recently asked to repair a Road Marvel 36000.
Previously, we had it overhauled at our shop.
When winding the watch by hand, the crown was turned too tightly and the winding core broke.
It seems that the crown was lost after the winding core broke.
First, I opened the back case to check the inside and found rust in places.
The remaining core was quite rusty and there were traces of moisture inside.
When using, of course, avoid storing in humid places.
It's fine to place it in a place where you normally put your accessories.
When I asked her about it, she said that she often took it off in the bathroom and left it on.
This is likely the cause of moisture building up inside and causing parts to rust.
I had some stock parts for the crown and the core, so
Parts will be replaced along with a re-overhaul.
Please be careful of humidity.
Moisture causes rust, and rust can cause serious internal damage.
