稀にあるネジ外れも対処します。

We also handle the occasional loose screw.

A watch repair recently requested by one of our customers.

We were asked to perform an overhaul and exterior polishing, but upon the watch's arrival, we discovered that a bezel screw had fallen out.

The structure of the Cartier Santos varies slightly depending on the age and model, and this later model Santos Galbée has a case construction similar to the quartz models.

While we perform maintenance on all watches before they are sold, we sometimes see bezel screws come loose—whether due to an oversight during inspection or some other factor—and curiously, even repairs performed by the manufacturer can experience the same issue.

It is fortunate if this is discovered before the sale, but it is problematic if a screw falls out while the customer is using the watch after purchase.

Furthermore, it is difficult to determine whether such issues are caused by the screws not being tightened properly or by external factors like vibrations; the inability to identify the root cause remains a challenge.

However, as we stock various exterior parts for the Santos, including a large quantity of genuine bezel screws, we can perform repairs with peace of mind even if a screw comes loose.

Since this was a sold item, we reinstalled the screw free of charge. With the overhaul and exterior polishing now completed, it should be ready for many more years of use.

Exterior parts can be damaged or lost for any number of reasons, so it is important to handle such situations calmly when they arise.

Above all, regular maintenance is key. We conduct detailed checks during these sessions, which allows us to address any issues that may have occurred.

All is well for now. Thank you once again for choosing our shop!
