The other day, we went to Karuizawa for a family trip for the first time in a while.
It's about a three-hour drive from downtown Tokyo.
It has long been known as a "summer resort," and the temperature is much cooler than you would expect.
The air is clean and the mountains are magnificent.
This is the first time I've ever found such a wonderful place to relax at a mountain resort.
This time, I went to Karuizawa with the main purpose of visiting the local supermarket "Tsuruya" .
It was better than I expected and I want to go back regularly.
Meanwhile, I came across a large cicada in Karuizawa, where you can feel the four seasons.

The cicadas' chirping is indescribable and memorable, and their color is a beautiful green like that of Karuizawa.
I really enjoyed it and would love to go again.
