The tip of the winding core was broken into the crown, so the repair required replacing the crown and winding core.
Unlike current products, vintage watches,
Many of them do not have crown guards, and most of the crowns are not screw-down type.
Therefore, if the crown is caught on clothing or other objects and a strong force is applied,
The connection between the crown and the winding core may break.
This time, the interior also needed an overhaul, so we carried out each of those tasks.
I had a used crown in stock, so I decided to install that.
I tried looking for genuine reel cores, including second-hand ones, but I couldn't find any.
So this time I made a different one.
It is difficult to find genuine Omega cores,
Whether or not it is possible to create a separate production is a major point.
And there is no noticeable damage inside,
There was no damage to any parts, so the overhaul was completed as normal.
