We recently received a request from a customer for watch repair.
This time, we performed an overhaul on a Cartier Santos Galbée that they had purchased previously.
This movement is a quartz movement also used in models like the Must de Cartier Tank,
and its basic structure is almost identical.
We have internal parts in stock, so repairs are reliable, but a drawback of bracelet-type watches compared to leather straps is their tendency to accumulate dirt.
While leather straps can be easily replaced if damaged or broken,
there's a limit to how much you can clean a bracelet yourself.
In such cases, we offer free ultrasonic cleaning of bracelets,
which you can request at any time.
Generally, during an overhaul, we clean the bracelet and case before working on the internal components, but
we also accept requests for bracelet-only cleaning at any time.
Dirt accumulated in the gaps of the bracelet can corrode the metal,
potentially leading to bracelet breakage in the worst case.
