Actually, I'm 40 years old, but I ordered a "black suit" just now.
The suits I usually wear (a few times a year) are only navy or gray.
Fortunately, I didn't have to go to any funerals.
I didn't have any formal clothes, including a black suit.
I ordered this because I was in my 40s and thought there was a problem with not having one.
When I asked for the familiar “The My Way” ,

"I'm embarrassed that I don't have one at my age. I don't want it to happen, but just in case."

I don't think it would be a good idea to not be able to wear proper "formal attire" when saying goodbye to someone.
