From a previous blog: “What do you put in your breakfast salad?”
Hi, I'm a husband who only eats breakfast like a model (lol)
The other day I received a question from a customer about salads, so I would like to answer them!
Even if you don't know, please do (lol)
For breakfast, I had a heaping salad that made me want to throw up, and since it's been a bit cold lately, I had some vegetable soup.
It changes depending on the day, but most of the breads are smaller.
The contents of the salad change depending on the season.
I bought it at Costco the other day (as usual).
・Baby leaf
・Germinated soybeans
・Frozen broccoli
·Petit tomatoes
・Chia seeds
·avocado
・Mixed nuts
·Boiled egg
Add chicken salad, cucumber, paprika, cheese, and quinoa to this base.
The only seasoning is olive oil and crazy salt.
Once you get used to it, you don't need dressing.
Since winter is almost here, instead of things that lower body temperature like tomatoes and cucumbers,
·sweet potato
·pumpkin
·Japanese white radish
·Chinese cabbage
·Okra
It is also recommended to steam these.
The seasoning is basically the same, but I sometimes use sesame dressing.
In general, it may be better for some people to avoid items that are said to contain sugar.
Personally, I find it less stressful to eat what I like and as much as I like, so I eat as much as I like.
I'm conscious of consuming high-quality oil, so avocados and mixed nuts are a must.
Protein is also essential, so at least 2 boiled eggs,
If you don't have chicken, you can supplement it with pork, beef, or fish.
Of course, I avoid fried foods, fatty foods, and white sugar.
If you eat this much, you will feel better in many ways!
I don't eat unnecessary food because I'm full from the morning,
You don't need that much for lunch either.
As expected, many of my classmates who are overweight are in the habit of eating a large portion or a second helping at lunch.
When I lived in Tokyo, I ate ramen 3 to 5 times a week.
I would have ordered it without hesitation if it was free of charge (lol)
As I approached the age of 40, I began to seriously think about my health.
I hardly ever drink alcohol these days.
However, on a business trip to Hiroshima the other day, I drank too much with a friend and passed out on the way home.
They camped out in the parking lot on the way home.
I made a mistake at this age...
I train two days a week along with my meals.
Even with this, I can't lose weight at all (lol)
From a customer the other day
``No matter what you do once you're over 40, you won't lose 1 kg, or even 500 grams.''
When I hear that, I feel it somehow.
However, since I'm not participating in a contest or anything like that, I do my best to keep myself from getting stressed out.
It is best to eat and exercise in moderation.
I haven't lost any weight, but it doesn't mean I'm not feeling well, so that's good.
Today was the first time in a long time that I pushed myself too hard in training and couldn't lift my shoulders (lol)
And since I have something to go to Tenjin, I want to go and eat the ramen I've been wanting to try.
Since it's autumn, there are so many delicious temptations no matter what I eat.
But once you eat, you just have to move that much, so
I enjoy my meals without overeating!
