This is something I was thinking about writing about,
This is a story about "position talk," which I personally dislike.
The point is, "You think so because you sell watches, right?"
Although I thought, “I don’t know what’s going on,”
I'll write about it once in a while just to see if it's good.
It's okay if you skip it.
By the way, today is also unnecessarily long (lol)
In a conversation with a customer who visited the store the other day,
“I’m buying a watch because I’m having a hard time due to the coronavirus!”
We had a lively conversation with a female customer who said this.
Since you are running a company,
While I understand how you feel, ``I can't believe this is happening,''
Based on the customer's industry, there has been almost no work since February.
Once again, I feel that there are so many people who are having a hard time in these times.
Fortunately, we are really grateful that we receive subsidies from the national, prefectural, and city governments.
Although the state of emergency has been lifted,
If this situation continues, we cannot continue to be treated as someone else's problem.
but,
That's why you should "buy a watch."
It may seem like the topic has skipped a bit, but it doesn't have to be limited to watches.
Whether it's clothes, shoes, or bags,
Whether it's a car, a bike, or a camera,
It could be a house, a boat, or anything else.
In a situation like this, we should do what we can to cheer ourselves up and encourage ourselves.
If that happens to be me, it's just my watch.
The customer also said, ``Right now, work has decreased dramatically, but the current situation won't last forever.
I want to buy a watch so that I can do my best even when times are tough.''
I can fully agree with that idea.
In this situation, I don't want to spend money on unnecessary things.
I understand how it feels to not be able to spend money.
However, there is a limit to "continuing to be patient."
If you get stressed out and end up hurting yourself or the people around you, you're putting the cart before the horse.
That's not to say you shouldn't force yourself to shop.
If you can just make yourself feel better,
I don't think there's anything wrong with spending money on something.
The state of emergency has been lifted, so shops are gradually opening.
Maybe a state of emergency will be declared again.
The best thing to do is to go to the store and get something that will keep you going even when that happens.
I think that in the long run, the ``feelings'' at that time can be preserved in form.
“It was tough because of the coronavirus, but I was able to do my best because of this.”
“Thanks to this, I was able to endure this unprecedented period of self-restraint.”
Isn't it fine if you think so?
I'm sure you'll say, "So what about you?"
I'm thinking that it's time to get rid of the watch that I've been having so much trouble with.
Grand Seiko 1st, which has been announced for some time.
It goes so well with the navy blazer that I introduced in the blog the other day.
That blazer was also ordered around the time the coronavirus outbreak started.
I think I was able to be of some help to the familiar tailors and the people around them.
This is the only watch that comes to mind when I think of the best compatible watch.
In fact, I purposely purchased this Grand Seiko in a condition that is inferior to the previous one.
I didn't buy one until now because I was worried about getting one for myself.
Since it was in poor condition, it was a little cheaper to purchase.
Therefore, the selling price was also more generous than usual.
Also, for my own watches, I prefer ones that are in "fair condition."
It's not bad if it's shiny and in good condition, but
Since it's a vintage item, it's cool to have some "other people's dirt" on it.
Because I have that feeling,
This time's Grand Seiko is quite disappointing.
By the way, I'm asking them to find something in good condition for their next stock.
I have been informed that it may be in stock soon, so
We will post it on our website when it arrives, but the price will be quite high.
The selling price will probably be around 450,000 yen, so
This may be the last time you can get one for the 300,000 yen range.
If you read this far, you might be forgiven for thinking that I just want to sell watches.
On the other hand, I think you can also think, ``What's the fun in being patient?''
There are no right or wrong answers.
Isn't the best thing about living your life that you can feel ``fun'' from the bottom of your heart?
When you listen to the voice of your heart,
I heard, "The combination of a blazer and Grand Seiko is the best!"
I digress from here,
A blazer and white pants are now a classic combination.
The white bread has been my favorite item for almost 25 years.
I have lost count of the number of times I have replaced it,
The first time I bought white bread was when I was in middle school.
I first discovered it in the showcase of a domestic brand store in downtown Hiroshima.
The store's customer base is probably over 30.
Normally, if junior high school students came to a store like that, they would be surprised (lol)
At that time, even though I was a junior high school student, I didn't understand anything.
For the time being, I went to various shops wanting white bread, but they didn't sell it.
It was the only store that had it.
When I entered the store with trepidation...
“The people at the shop are so beautiful (lol)”
She was probably in her early 20s at the time,
From a junior high school student's perspective, people in their 20s are considered "adults".
He talked to me so friendly that I was totally hooked (lol)
Needless to say, I went there many times after that to see that person (lol).
Although I saved up my little pocket money and went shopping several times,
Since the shop is gone,
I haven't met that person since then,
I have fond memories of a time when mail order was not as mainstream as it is now.
If you like something and pursue it, there will be lots of fun things to do.
Money is certainly important, but
Beyond that, ``experience'' cannot be replaced with anything.
For my generation, the only way to get information is through magazines or stores.
Actually, most of the information I got was from the people at the store telling me various things.
In a sense, it may be the most analog method, but
Search with your own feet, listen with your own ears,
Then see and touch it with your own eyes.
The only way to obtain information was to use my five senses.
It's not that it's good or bad, but
It might be a good idea to try to do everything you can, but on the other hand, it might be a waste of time and effort.
On the other hand, you may create your own "special value."
In my case, I am interested in fashion,
I really enjoyed it from so many people.
To the female staff members I met when I was a junior high school student,
I wouldn't have been able to meet you if I hadn't taken an interest in fashion.
Even if it doesn't develop into anything special,
Maybe it's because of that experience that I'm enjoying myself now.
You are the one who sees things negatively.
If that's the case, life will definitely be more enjoyable if you can be even just a little bit positive.
I thought so at a time like this.
