Notice of regular holidays and temporary closures in September and information on 10% consumption tax

August is quickly coming to an end and September is about to begin.
Students are entering their second semester,
This period when I was a student was deeply depressing.
When you become a member of society, it just changes from August to September, so there is nothing special about it.
This year is a little different...

Yes, the consumption tax will be raised to 10% from October.
There's so much I want to say on this subject,
If I write that, it will be written tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, so I will stop (lol)
Since this is a matter of decision for the time being, we will start with this tax increase.

When the consumption tax rose to 8%, I think I was able to choose whether the in-store price would be displayed excluding tax or including tax.
This is a long and confusing name called ``Consumption Tax Pass-on Measures Special Measures Law.''
To put it simply, when it was 5%, it was mandatory to include tax,
When the price reaches 8%, if the price is not misunderstood, you can choose to display it either excluding tax or including tax.
In the end, I think I was confused because it varies depending on the store.
If it is written as “¥○○+tax”, it will be written as excluding tax.
“¥○○” means that tax is included.

This Act on Special Measures for Countermeasures for Consumption Tax Shifting is valid until March 31, 2021.
It seems that from April 1, 2021, it will be necessary to display tax inclusive.
There may be changes, but
In that case, there should be some sort of announcement, so until then, follow the rules as usual.
Therefore, in our store, we will write "¥○○+tax" until the deadline.
When shopping overseas, it is easier to use tax-excluded notation.
There is nothing we can do about this as it is a matter decided by the state.

Please note that we do not plan to change the price of the product due to the tax increase.
We won't do anything drastic like cut prices after the "last-minute demand before the tax increase" (lol)
However, from October onwards, customers will have to pay 2% more for the product.
As our company is obligated to pay consumption tax, sales have decreased since October due to increased burden and refraining from purchasing.
For now, I don't have any positive topics (lol)
Well, it can't be helped since it's the will of the people.
Complaining won't help, so I have no choice but to do it,
First of all, there is not much change from before.

The 10% consumption tax changeover period will be from Tuesday, October 1st.
For those purchasing through mail order etc.
Those who made the payment by ``during the business hours of our store or other institutions on Friday, September 27th.''
We will be temporarily closed from Saturday, September 28th to Monday, September 30th.
Unable to confirm payment or deposit.
If you are considering purchasing, please place your order as soon as possible.

Also, regarding regular holidays and temporary closures in September, there are many store holidays.
In the second half of September, there will be a store opening event in Hiroshima and a business trip to Tokyo.
Apart from that, there are also major events that you can't miss if you live in Fukuoka.
Let's start with that.

The once-a-year big event “Nakasu Jazz 2019” will be held on Saturday, September 14th and Sunday, September 15th!
Nakasu Jazz, which we went to last year, was one of the reasons we decided to move and move to Fukuoka.
Enjoy your favorite jazz musician's live show for free!
What's more, it's amazing that live performances can be held in various places around Nakasu!
Last year, the double feature of “fox capture plan” and “TRI4TH”, which I personally love, was amazing!
A crazy (lol) live show where people of all ages dance and dance.
It's a concert where even grandmothers in their 70s dance, so there's no way it wouldn't be fun.
Ryoyu will be appearing again this year, so I have no choice but to go!!

So, the schedule for September is as follows.

Closed: Every Tuesday (9/3, 9/10, 9/17, 9/24), 3rd Sunday (9/15)
Change in business hours: Closed at 3pm on Saturday, September 14th Temporary closure due to event store opening Saturday, September 21st - Monday, September 23rd Temporary closure due to business trip Saturday, September 28th - Monday, September 30th

We apologize for the inconvenience that many stores will be closed in September for various reasons.
