家族の在り方

How family should be

The first time was about ten years ago when my best friend took me to Tokyo.
Yes, everyone loves “Saizeriya”!! (Just us?)
My friend who lived in Italy for about 3 years highly recommended it,
I still remember going there thinking I wanted to try things out.

At first, all I thought was, ``It's a family restaurant, right?''
Because my parents were chefs, I only went to family restaurants a few times.
But the family restaurants I've only been to a few times are also delicious.
I don't have any memories of being glad I went.
I feel like I just felt like going out to eat for the time being.

My friend who lived in Italy is quite a foodie.
We know restaurants that are not only delicious but also interesting.
It seems that living in Italy with almost no money helped him develop his sense of smell for finding delicious restaurants.
Many of the restaurants that my friend takes me to are only known to those in the know.
A takoyaki restaurant with only 6 seats is located in the middle of Ginza.
In addition to the copper takoyaki machine, the mysterious sauce was really delicious.
Scattered in really hard to find places (the club district from 5th to 8th streets is too scary to go),
A really elegant takoyaki restaurant.

My friend recommended escargot...!!
Can I eat at a family restaurant? It was shocking at first, but
Nowadays, if you go to Saizeriya with me, this is a must-have menu.
I also had focaccia (called focaccio in Saizeriya) and white wine.
It costs less than 1000 yen per person!
I was really surprised at how delicious and cheap this was.

After that, I went to Saizeriya for more than 10 years, and I must have been there a total of 200 times.
Once you start going there that much, conquering the entire menu becomes a given.
I got to the point where I could make the existing menu delicious.
Do you cook a little on the spot when you go with friends? do.
It will be many times more delicious than going to a crappy Italian restaurant.
Whenever I go out with friends, I drink about 5 huge magnum-sized wine bottles until they run out.
Needless to say, things will be difficult after that.

Even after returning to Hiroshima, I went to Saizeriya quite often.
But the reason I go there is because of the neighborhood, but eating out is really difficult when you have kids.
It is normal for people to run wild and make noise inside the store.
I can't go to fancy restaurants because it's a nuisance to both the staff and other customers.
Saizeriya, which was in the neighborhood, was crowded on weekdays, but
There have been several times when my child has blurted out his name, so every time I go there, I feel very sorry.
I feel sorry for the people at the store, but
Even so, I can only feel grateful for the many meals he has given me.

This kind of thing is also a memory with my family.
When eating out, there are not only good things, but also bad things.
But it's also nice to have a place where you can reminisce about the growth of your children and your husband and wife.
This may be a blessing in disguise for the restaurant industry.
If you just eat it, it's tasteless,
I think it's important to have time to eat together as a family and say, ``It's delicious,'' even if it's not a high-class meal.

Today February 3rd is my wife's birthday and we went to Saizeriya last night.
I really want to go to a small restaurant, but
You can do that anytime.
Being able to spend time with my family on a day like this is more important than anything.
In an environment where such places are nearby,
I feel that it is more important than anything to be grateful to my family for being there.
I think that's what a family should be like,
Going to a fancy store before or after your birthday is not important at all.
After all, it's important to cherish the people around you!
