デニム師匠のところから

From the Denim Master

By chance, I came to work with a denim master.
When I lived in Tokyo, he taught me about second-hand denim, and he was known as "Denim Master."
The amount of knowledge he has is not overwhelming, and his collection is full of things you can't buy these days.
He is knowledgeable about not only denim but also American vintage and toy collections.
Although he is about 5 years younger than me, he has taught me so much about denim that I would like to call him my master.

Since I know a lot about watches, I taught him various things about Rolex.
My master bought the Explorer 1 that I had found at the lowest price at the time.
He is one of the few friends with whom we still maintain a close relationship, complementing each other's knowledge.

The denim master who had a chance to play a role in the arrival of Cartier's rare model.
Considering that the connections from the past continue to this day,
I think human relationships are really strange.

At the time, we only met at my part-time job before moving to Chiba.
I was curious about something, so I asked him some questions, and as expected, he was a very particular person.
We hit it off right away because we have the same interests and hobbies,
She was very happy when I introduced her to her favorite shoe store in Ueno.
By the way, the shoe store there sells many Red Wing B products, which were rare at the time.
One of the few shops where you can buy popular models for less than 20,000 yen.
If you like vintage denim, you'll love finding a store where you can buy Red Wing at a cheap price!

Since then, we have been in touch from time to time,
I'm really happy that we were able to connect again now that we've moved to Fukuoka.
What's more, I'm impressed that they can help us because we have something in common: watches!
Because it's a relationship where you don't know when, where, or how you'll be involved,
I want to continue to cherish it.

One day, I was given an opportunity to grow as a person once again.
