On my day off the other day, I finished cleaning up the house,
I went to my favorite ramen shop "Second Generation Tsujita" for the first time in a while.
This is one of the ramen shops that I have introduced several times in the past.
I used to go there often when I lived in Tokyo.
The nostalgic taste is from life in Tokyo,
It brings back memories of how hard I tried my best in "Tokyo Desert."
This time with my family.
My wife has eaten there several times in Tokyo.
This is my child's first experience of Tokyo ramen.
I went to eat ramen several times in Hiroshima and Fukuoka, and ramen is one of my favorite dishes.
But I've only ever eaten thin noodles,
I was worried whether I would like the ramen with what is commonly called "Edo dashi", but
Contrary to my expectations, he ended up eating most of it by himself (lol)
I’m glad you liked it!
And I'm really grateful to be able to eat this in my neighborhood.
Until the other day, I hardly ate out due to the state of emergency declaration.
Eating out with family for the first time in a while is fun, but at the same time,
Even after the state of emergency was lifted, the number of people at restaurants was small,
And since this store is located inside Fukuoka Airport,
I was struck by the lack of planes and people.
The situation at restaurants and airports that I see on TV is even more dire than I expected.
"I don't like being around too many people, so let's just eat some ramen and go home right away."
Although I was talking about it at first,
The always crowded airport was empty.
Some stores, including restaurants, are not open.
I was shocked to see that it looked like an airport in a remote area.
I realized that the coronavirus is having a bigger impact than I thought.
Not only for retail businesses like ours,
Once again, the impact of the coronavirus remains in many industries.
The lifting of the state of emergency is a step forward, but
It is necessary to continue to take measures to prevent infection and avoid the 3 Cs.
It is important to take precautions to prevent stress from accumulating.
For me, being able to enjoy the taste of memories was
Something special that got me through these three months of self-restraint.
Next time you go out to eat, don't worry about anything.
I hope I can go there with peace of mind.
