The other Thursday, after finishing work, I arrived at a taste of memories.





The store I was planning to go to on the go was closed.
The tempura shop next door was too crowded so we gave up.
There's still a little time left until we meet, so
Just when I was thinking of driving around for a while without having lunch,
Since I discovered ``Katsuya'' , I had ``Katsuya Katsudon'' for the first time in several years.

I first went to Katsuya when I was in my 20s and living in Tokyo.
At the time, my wife, who was working at Daimaru near Tokyo Station, discovered it and said she often went there with her colleagues.
I lived about 20 minutes away by bicycle, so I was often indebted to him.

At that time, there were not as many stores as there are now.
I thought it was a local katsudon restaurant, but
I remember being so impressed by how delicious the katsudon was that I couldn't believe it was only 500 yen.

Although I had decided that I would never cheat on him after eating a katsudon at Shinmaruko on the Toyoko Line, which I used to frequent when I was in my 20s,
I tried it and it was delicious!
It's not great, but I thought it was a good value for the quality for 500 yen.
By the way, the store in Shinmaruko is one of the stores that I will never tell you about.

Back then, I was younger and had a bigger appetite than I do now, so I ate two cutlets.
The other day I had one and was full.
At that time, I was probably tired from work and wanted to eat something hearty.
Now it's impossible!

But it tasted just as delicious as it did for the first time in about 7 years.
I wanted to go again someday,
I never thought I could taste those memorable tastes in Fukuoka...
The world has really become more convenient.
I felt a little depressed thinking that I looked like an old person (lol)

Due to the coronavirus, I am unable to go to Tokyo.
Enjoying a familiar taste for the first time in a while,
The couple enjoyed reminiscing about those days.
