時代には反していますが。

Although it is against the times.

This weekend is finally the store opening event at "BURIE" which is opening in Honkawa-cho, Hiroshima.

It's going to be a fun two days, as advertised on both the blog and Instagram .

Please feel free to stop by!

This month, more people will return to Hiroshima than ever before.

I went to an acquaintance's wedding to pick up my child who had returned home for spring break.

And a weekend event...

I think it would be faster if I lived there already (lol)

But when I go back three times a month,

I suddenly remember living in Hiroshima when I was a child.

I moved from the countryside of Hiroshima to a port town where Ujina Port is located.

One of Hiroshima's charms is that the sea and mountains are side by side.

It is also a nostalgic place where you can see the streets of a long time ago as you move away from the city.

This wedding happened to be held in the town where I lived as a child, so

I visited a cake shop that I used to frequent with my mother for the first time in about 35 years.

The mysterious building, which is unsuitable for this era, has remained unchanged since ancient times.

This shop has a truly mysterious structure with a mezzanine and middle two floors.

It would be nice to have a location in the back of the store where you can see the ocean,

I'm especially happy that it's still in business today.

The first pudding I had in decades.

As you can see from its appearance, it has an old-fashioned feel, not a "modern" one.

The taste is just as homemade as ever.

I wouldn't say it tastes bad, but it's not particularly tasty either.

That's because you can get delicious food anywhere in Japan at convenience stores or online.

For better or for worse, puddings eaten at old-fashioned restaurants are rarely delicious.

It means that modern Japan is quite blessed.

I can't say that the location is very popular,

The restaurant's menu is outdated and never looks good.

However, the reason why this store remains is because of people like me who are nostalgic.

I think it's because local people come here.

``Because it's delicious'' is no longer the number one priority,

"Because it's this restaurant" may be the best answer.

That's why I think this store is a good place to experience ``30 years ago''.

I can't say that the taste is good, but the atmosphere of the restaurant itself is the same as before.

It's nostalgic for those of our generation and newer, but novel for the younger generation.

I think this is a place where you can go to feel the era in which this store was created.

Nowadays, you can get anything on the internet and know anything you want to know.

You can choose the restaurant you want to go to based on other people's reviews and say whatever you like anonymously.

But in the end, how do you “feel” when you go there?

Restaurants that are not delicious are not rated low;

I would like the atmosphere and atmosphere of the place to be taken into consideration in the evaluation.

Considering that, this restaurant is a 5 star for me.

I want to bring my kids with me next time.
