初めての海外のお客様のご予約での反省。

Reflections on making a reservation for a first-time overseas customer.

This month, our Tsukiji office received a reservation from a customer from overseas for the first time.

We had a business discussion with an interpreter who had been prepared in advance.

As a result, the customer was very satisfied with the purchase.

Personally, my rating is 10 out of 100.

There are so many things I'm not good at and I hate myself (lol)

First of all, it's been a long time since I've had a conversation with someone from overseas, and it's not as good as I expected.

I'm not originally good at English, but

I could speak a simple level of business English, but I can't speak it at all.

Especially now that we have the coronavirus and both ourselves and others are wearing masks.

I don't even know what they're talking about.

Although we employ an interpreter for this reason,

As for the interpretation, I did 100% of the work.

I know it's at a native level, so

Customers can have smooth conversations and can answer any questions they may have.

Well, it makes me even more aware of my own inadequacies.

To put it bluntly, it's a wonderful arrangement typical of soccer coach Moriyasu.

In terms of play, it's amateur level.

Also, I had been thinking about registering as a "tax exempt business operator" but had been putting it off.

This time I was unable to complete the tax exemption procedure.

We will be changing our homepage and cash register system all at once this year or early next year.

At that time, we will also register as a tax exempt business operator.

I really regret that I should have registered earlier.

We ended up having to pay consumption tax to the people from overseas who took the trouble to come.

It would be nice to think about the country, but

Considering the customers, I think it's a bit unkind.

I had told them in advance that tax exemption was not possible.

As a result, they really liked the watch itself.

My friend who came with me was also able to show me the watch he was looking for,

The truth is that it wasn't all bad.

However, what I can say is that it was a day when I was acutely aware of my complete lack of preparation.

But I can't keep blaming myself,

I would like to congratulate you on your purchase,

I went to Kannonyama Fruit Parlor, which I had always wanted to go to.

A fruit parfait made with seasonal fruits at a shop that originated in Wakayama Prefecture.

It's delicious, nothing more to say.

In fact, there's no way it wouldn't be delicious.

While looking back on today's day, I also organized my future challenges.

I was able to review what I needed and what I needed to do in the future.

I praise myself for saying that there were more good things than bad things (lol)

Start studying English from scratch so you can have smoother conversations.

So that those who come from overseas will be more satisfied,

We have a long way to go, but we just have to work hard little by little!
