結婚10周年と自分の誕生日

10th wedding anniversary and my birthday

I spent the holidays with just my family of three.

Since it was our 10th wedding anniversary, we couldn't afford to do nothing, so this time we went to a certain "tropical country".

I had the impression that there were a lot of Japanese people, but it wasn't as much as I expected.

I forgot and couldn't speak the English-only conversation I had for the first time in many years than I expected (lol).

No matter where you go in the city, credit card payments are the main payment method.

While it is convenient to use cards for small change, the ``tipping'' system, which is unfamiliar in Japan, is really confusing.

After cutting the credit card at checkout, they write around 15% of the amount on the slip.

I'm just confused by a system I'm not used to.

For those 4 days, I always thought that the price should include tip from the beginning.

In addition to this inconvenience, it is also difficult to use when going to the toilet.

As I'm sure men will understand, the height of the urinal is about waist-high.

Furthermore, on the second day, it rained heavily and the shopping mall was full of leaks.

There are deep puddles on the sidewalks because the drainage hasn't kept up.

When I go shopping, I am generally unfriendly.

I thought he didn't like Asian people, but it's the same for everyone.

If it were Japan, it would definitely be a complaint.

On the other hand, there are some very friendly people.

I was once again impressed with how well-maintained and clean the environment in Japan is and how well-trained they are on the job.

However, I realized that in Japan, people tend to forget important things because of convenience.

Even if the sidewalk is flooded or the food court isn't that clean,

Even if the staff at the store aren't friendly, you won't die.

Honestly, I don't care about that.

"I'm who I am, so I'll make a clear statement."

I think that kind of attitude is important.

There are many different races and different ways of thinking and customs,

It is not possible to respond to each one individually.

If you worry about small things, you won't get anything done.

While this leads to an open mind,

There's no point in being there if you can't express your own opinion.

I really felt that.

For some reason, foreigners are dignified,

I had the impression that Japanese people are slow and crisp even overseas, so

First of all, try to emulate someone who is dignified and say hello at the elevator.

I was strangely happy that he talked to me, especially since I had children with me.

What I realized is that I don't ask stupid questions like "Where are you from?"

You can have something like that anywhere.

I just met a Mexican man in the elevator on the way home.

The deep bass of the voice of “GoodMorning!!” was so unbelievable that I was completely defeated (lol)

Even though we're the same height, my body is about twice as bulky...

I felt like I could go pretty far because I was training every day.

The American-looking women were far too macho, and I realized how naive my own perceptions were.

Although I worked hard on training this morning,

My whole body hurts so much that I have a hard time standing up.

I'm weak. . .

When I travel, I have little interest in shopping, so my main focus is visiting popular restaurants.

The acai bowls and pancakes we eat locally are super delicious, but the portions aren't huge.

However, people say that prices are higher than in Japan, but if you consider the quantity, are they about the same? ?

I guess some foreigners are big because they eat that much.

When we ordered just the right amount for three people, the waiter said, "Thumbs Good!!"

Maybe not everyone can eat everything.

Overall, the taste was better than I expected.

But because of that location,

If it's just about the deliciousness of the food, Japan might be the best.

One of the fun things about this time is to ask for a tour guide.

I went to a local place away from the downtown area and studied the area.

At the same time as being a resort area that everyone dreams of,

I had mixed feelings about the fact that it would create a large number of homeless people.

In fact, there are homeless people everywhere even during the day.

It's not so bad at night, but you don't feel like you can walk alone.

But don't just look at the bright parts;

I think it's important to be aware of these facts and enjoy the area.

This trip taught me the most things I have ever done.

I think it gave me even more inspiration.

Usually, work becomes the main thing and I tend to focus on that, but

Sometimes while playing, I learn things I don't know,

I also realized the importance of spending time in situations that are different from the usual.

This is also thanks in part to my wife, who is the president of the company and is a self-proclaimed talented secretary (lol).

Well, this month is the end of the year, so I have to work really hard.

So, what? What were you talking about after all? ?
