これは超レアな時計です。

This is a super rare watch.

The "Cartier Premust Tank" that arrived today is a rare model that is hard to come by these days.

This is commonly known as a pre-mast tank, produced just before the "must de" marking was printed on it.

Now it is one of the rarest vintage Cartier models.

At first glance, the design is almost the same as the Tank Louis Cartier.

Those who know will understand,

To the untrained eye, they may look like the same watch.

This is a mysterious item due to the small production numbers and little definitive documentation.

In old books, Cartier New York, which was a separate company from Cartier in the home country,

We started selling a vermeil snapback case on a trial basis, but

Apparently there were a lot of counterfeit products on the market, so the home country started producing genuine products.

The regular lineup was later released as the "Must Collection" in 1976.

It is speculated that pre-mast tanks began to be distributed around 1972, when the 12-part series was released.

If production ended around 1976, the actual production period was very short.

However, in the 1980s, there was a Champagne Roma quartz model that did not have the "must de" marking.

I can't say for sure because I don't have any definitive evidence.

However, there are not many of them, and of course there are few in good condition.

This one is in very good condition,

This is an item that we can confidently recommend as having high documentary value.

We also have an ivory Roman dial that arrived today,

There are rare cases where you can see the difference,

In addition to the differences in appearance, the movement specifications are also slightly different.

That's what's interesting about vintage items,

It may be something that tickles your curiosity!
