超希少なハートインデックスのセイコー・マーベル。

A super rare Seiko Marvel with a heart index.

The "Seiko Marvel" that arrived today features very rare heart-shaped indices.

It is a rare model that fully conveys the uniqueness of Japanese-made watches.

The appeal of Japanese-made watches includes the birth of world-standard watches in Japan, such as Grand Seiko and Citizen Chronometer.

However, there's another aspect that captivates watch enthusiasts worldwide.

In Seiko's case, they resumed watch manufacturing immediately after the end of the war,

and have released many masterpieces to the world.

Many of these watches can still be maintained, and they offer so many advantages, such as being affordable and suitable for daily use.

However, the interesting thing about Japanese-made watches is their undefinable warm designs, which are not found in foreign watches,

and unique dials that could only be seen at that time.

This Marvel is a prime example of such a watch.

Vintage watches, both domestic and international, are characterized by their small, rounded designs,

and it can be said that the dial, which is the face of the watch, often shows unique characteristics;

there are truly countless unique designs.

Especially for those who love vintage watches, many are captivated by the characteristics of the dial, such as those with Roman or Arabic numerals for indices,

those using precious metals or jewels,

and those with enamel or cloisonné finishes on the dial itself.

Among these, indices shaped like arrowheads, known as "Kusabi" (wedge), are a distinctive feature of vintage watches.

While there are various forms of these Kusabi indices,

large Kusabi shapes that resemble hearts are considered very valuable items, giving rise to the term "heart index."

Heart index watches can also be seen in models like the Omega Constellation.

This watch was manufactured in 1958, meaning it's approximately 70 years old.

It's moving to see such a watch remain in beautiful condition without significant damage,

and still keeping accurate time.

Beyond its vintage atmosphere,

the rounded case design typical of watches from that era, and the corresponding curve of the dial and hands, are also highlights.

However, the most important thing is undeniably the cuteness and uniqueness of these indices;

this piece is truly exceptional for that reason alone.

This particular piece is not only rare but also in excellent condition,

making it likely difficult to acquire such a specimen in the future.

As it's personally one of my favorites,

I sincerely hope this watch finds its way to someone who appreciates it.

You probably won't be able to get this again.

Seriously, act fast!
