We recently repaired a customer's watch.
I bought it about 10 years ago and this is the first time I've had it serviced.
This time, it was no longer possible to wind it by hand and the crystal had a crack so it needed to be replaced.
In any case, since time has passed since the purchase,
We performed an overhaul and a windshield replacement at the same time.
Surprisingly, there was no major damage to the movement, and the only symptom was a lack of oil.
Many vintage models are highly durable,
Perhaps it was fortunate that the parts were sturdy so no major repairs were required.
However, this time it just so happened that the repairs were not major.
We recommend that you have your watch overhauled at least once every three years.
However, we will thoroughly repair any watch we sell, regardless of its condition.
