ボリューム感のある珍しいデザインをした1979年製のオメガ・デヴィル。

A rare 1979 Omega De Ville with a voluminous design.

The Omega De Ville that arrived today features one of the larger case sizes in the series.

Its oversized oval case is a very rare design.

Omega began its quartz watch lineup in the late 1970s.

Around 1980, it was common to find De Ville and Genève models with quartz exteriors but hand-wound movements inside.

While this particular watch has a strong impact due to its size,

as mentioned earlier, some models featured the same watch design for both hand-wound and quartz versions, with the exterior resembling a quartz model.

Omega's dress watches are truly unique.

This model uses a plastic crystal,

and is likely the last De Ville model to feature one.

Later, mineral glass became standard, leading to changes in case shape,

but looking at the fine details, such as the plastic crystal perfectly matching the unique curve of the case, reveals the intricate craftsmanship involved in making these watches.

As Omega transitioned to quartz models, the rich and unique designs of the past became less common,

replaced by more basic cases with improved dial designs.

This is the largest De Ville we have ever sold,

yet its classical appearance exudes the calm elegance characteristic of Omega watches.

Recently, rectangular watches have garnered significant attention,

but lately, the oval design, adopted by only a limited number of watch brands, and its uniqueness are gradually gaining popularity.

This De Ville is a rare find.

Beyond its design, the high quality that belies its affordable price

offers exceptional satisfaction upon ownership.

Furthermore, the price is very reasonable.

You won't find another watch this appealing!
