The Crown Special, launched in 1961, featured functions on par with the Grand Seiko.

This high-end model gained popularity not so much as an evolution of the Crown, but rather as an affordable version of the GS.

Among its several variations, the one with thick bar indexes was particularly popular.

It's a masterpiece that satisfies everyone from vintage watch beginners to enthusiasts.
