[About case re-plating]

Cartier's Must series cases are vermeil-processed.
Vermeil is a traditional technique of applying gold or rhodium to sterling silver (925).

Our re-plating process includes:
・Disassembly of the watch case and exterior cleaning
・Stripping of plating with chemicals
・Removal of minor scratches from the base material (SV925) by polishing
・Re-plating

Re-plated products reproduce the original beauty they had when they were first sold, despite being vintage.
